The short answers
- What is the Side jeep safari?
- A full day in an open-top 4x4 convoy from Side into the Taurus foothills: a Roman bridge at the end of the asphalt, crossings through dry riverbeds, orchards, the aqueducts, a lookout over Green Lake, a swim and pancakes at Oymapınar, then lunch beside the lake by Green Canyon. About 8 hours, hotel to hotel.
- Do you collect me from my hotel?
- Yes. Pickup and return are in the price for every hotel in the Side belt, from Gündoğdu to Kızılot and Manavgat. We confirm your time the day before. See every area we collect from.
- What does €20 include?
- The jeep day with a professional driver, the pickup at your hotel gate and the drive back, lunch beside the lake by Green Canyon, and a guide for the whole day. Drinks and the team's photos are not in it.
- Is the boat trip included?
- No — the Green Lake boat trip is an optional hour after lunch at €5 per person, paid on the day. Take it or skip it; the day is complete without it.
- What do children pay?
- Children aged 2 to 10 pay €10; under 2 they ride free. Everyone aged 11 and over pays €20. The night safari takes nobody under 12.
- What time does it start?
- In the morning, after breakfast time. The exact hotel time depends on where you stay and that day's convoy, so we confirm it the day before by phone or WhatsApp.
- Does the tour visit the zoo?
- The classic day does not. If you want the lion cubs, book the zoo route: the same day with the zoo stop added, ticket paid on site.
- Is there an evening version?
- Yes — the night jeep safari: a late-afternoon jeep run, dinner on board and a catamaran party cruise, about 5 hours, for guests aged 12 and over.
- How do I pay?
- You don't pay anything online. Reserve your seats here, then settle the fare in euros with the team that collects you. Cancel for free up to 48 hours before.
- How do I book?
- Pick the date and the number of guests, choose your hotel from the list, leave a phone number — done. You get a reference at once and a written confirmation if you give an e-mail. Book now.
Before you book
What is settled, and what is settled later
Three honest lists: what the fare covers, what we can only confirm after you book, and how the money works. Nothing here is a promise the operator has not made.
In the price
- The whole day in an open-top jeep with its own professional driver — eight to ten guests share each vehicle
- Pickup at your hotel gate and the drive back, anywhere in the Side belt
- Lunch at a lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon
- A guide with you the whole day
Confirmed after booking
- Your pickup time. It depends on your hotel and the day's convoy; we send it the day before by phone or WhatsApp.
- The order of the stops. The driver runs the route to suit the day — the swim, the viewpoints and lunch are all in it, in the order that works.
- The extras. The boat hour and the waterfall ticket are settled on the spot, and nobody has to take either.
How the money works
- The price you see is the price you pay. No booking fee, no surcharge for the transfer.
- Pay on the day, in euros, to the team that collects you. Nothing is taken online.
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start.
- Children aged 2 to 10 pay €10; under 2 ride free.

Guides
Plan the day, choose your tour, find your area
Short reads written from the operator's record: what the day holds, who it suits, how the three tours compare, what you see on the way, and where we collect from.
Guides
Plan the day
- The day, stop by stop Fourteen stops from your hotel gate to the late-afternoon return, what happens at each, and what the driver settles on the day.
- How booking works Five short steps, no card, pay in euros on the day: what you get at once, what follows the day before, how to cancel.
- Season and weather The day tours run all year, the night safari from early June to mid-November: what summer and winter change about the jeeps.
- What to wear and bring Clothes for dust and water, closed shoes, the swim things, sun protection and the few euros the day may ask for.
- Lunch, pancakes and the swim The swim and pancakes at Oymapınar, lunch at the lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon, and what the fare covers at the table.
- The water fights What the summer convoys do with water, who gets wet, why winter is dry, and how to keep a phone safe.
- The boat hour and the waterfall Two things you may pay for on the spot: an optional boat hour on Green Lake, and a waterfall stop that only some days include.
Guides
Who it suits
- With children What a child pays, who rides free, what the open jeep asks of a small child, and why the night safari starts at 12.
- For couples A shared jeep, a swim, lunch by the lake, or an evening on the water: which of the three tours suits two.
- For groups Up to twenty guests in one booking, more by request: how a group is seated and collected.
- Is it safe? Professional drivers, open jeeps, bumpy tracks and river crossings: what the record says, and who should tell us first.
- First time, or an older guest What a first-timer, a nervous passenger or an older traveller should know before the morning pickup.
Guides
Choose and compare
- Classic route or zoo route? The same day, the same price, one stop apart. What the zoo stop adds, what it costs on site, and who should pick which.
- Day jeep tour or night safari? A mountain day with lunch, or an evening with dinner and a party cruise. The differences in hours, ages, season and price.
- Is it worth it? What the fare buys, what costs extra, and the kind of guest who comes back pleased — or would rather do something else.
- The off-road part Where the asphalt ends at the Roman bridge, what the jeeps do in the riverbeds, and why only the driver drives.
- Jeep tour, quad or buggy? You ride in the jeep; you steer a quad or a buggy yourself. Which day suits which guest, with our sister site for the other.
- Jeep tour or rafting? A day in the mountains in a jeep, or a day on a river in a raft: how the two days differ, with our sister site for rafting.
- Jeep tour or boat trip? Hills, dust and a lake, or a deck and the sea: how the two Side days differ, and how to fit both into a week.
Guides
Along the route
- Green Lake and Oymapınar The viewpoint over Green Lake, the swim in Oymapınar village, the dam and the canyon view: the water at the heart of the day.
- The Roman bridge and aqueducts Where the off-road begins and the old stones the convoy drives past: what you see, and what we do not claim about it.
- Villages of the Taurus The orchards, the fields, the village swim stop and the mosque with the guide: the rural side of the day, as it is.
