Side Jeep Tour Lunch: Pancakes, the Swim and the Lakeside Table
The day feeds you twice: once in a village, once by the lake. Here is what each stop is, what the fare covers at the table and what you pay for yourself.
Short answer
Lunch is included on both day tours: it is served at a lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon. Earlier, in Oymapınar village, you swim and then eat Turkish pancakes cooked on the spot, a drink alongside. Drinks at lunch are paid separately. On the night safari the meal is dinner, served on board the catamaran.
Oymapınar village: the swim and the pancakes
The first food of the day comes at the village stop, after the Green Lake viewpoint. You swim first. Then the pancakes are made while you watch — Turkish pancakes, freshly cooked, handed over with a drink. It is a pause in the middle of a dusty morning rather than a meal, and it sits well between the off-road stretch and the dam.
Bring your swimsuit and a towel for this stop.
Lunch by the lake
In the operator's order, lunch follows the viewpoint above Green Canyon and is served at a lakeside restaurant near the canyon. It is in the fare on the classic day and on the zoo route alike, so the €20 you pay per adult already covers the meal.
We do not print a menu, because the record does not give one and we would rather not describe a plate we cannot vouch for. If you have a dietary need, write it in the notes when you book, so the team knows before the day.
Drinks with lunch are not in the fare. Bring a few euros for them.
After lunch: the boat, if you want it
Lunch is where the day slows down, and where the one real choice comes up: the optional hour on Green Lake by boat, €5 per person, paid on the spot. Staying ashore is just as good a choice; the day loses nothing either way. More in the boat hour and the waterfall.

Dinner on the night safari
The evening tour swaps lunch for dinner: after the jeep leg to the water, the meal is served on the catamaran, and the cruise brings music and entertainment. It is in the €35 fare; the drinks you order with it are not.
