A hotel can have a lobby, a side door and a car-park entrance. The driver works to one point: the main entrance gate on the road. That is where the jeep pulls up, and it is where our booking terms ask you to be at the time you were given. Waiting anywhere else, even a few steps inside, is how jeeps and guests miss each other.

If you are going to be late

Ring or message us on WhatsApp the moment you know. The terms are plain about the alternative: a guest who is not at the gate at the confirmed time may be left behind, because the convoy has other hotels to call at. A warning sent early gives the operator a chance to adjust; silence gives it none.

Under our cancellation policy, not being at the gate counts as a late cancellation — the operator had already held your seat and your lunch. Since nothing is paid online, no card is charged; the day is simply lost.

A short checklist for the morning

• Have the time from the previous day's message to hand, and set an alarm by it.
• Finish breakfast early enough to be outside at that time — the day tours call after breakfast time.
• Bring the fare in euros: you pay the team that collects you.

Changing plans before the morning

If you already know the day before that the morning will not work, do not leave it to the gate. Up to 48 hours ahead you cancel or move the date free of charge with one message.
