Side Jeep Tour From Kumköy: Classic Route or Zoo Route?
Kumköy is the resort next to Side on its western side. Guests here choose between two day tours that begin the same way, at the hotel gate, and differ by a single stop.
Short answer
Both day tours call at Kumköy with pickup and return in the fare: the classic route, which never visits the zoo, and the zoo route, the same day with a lion-cub stop added. Each costs €20 per adult and takes about 8 hours; the zoo ticket is bought at its gate. The night safari collects here too.
One gate, two days
Whichever you pick, the start looks identical from your side: a message the day before with your time, the main gate of your hotel, an open-top jeep in summer or a covered one in winter. The Roman bridge, the riverbeds, the aqueducts, the Green Lake viewpoint, the swim and pancakes at Oymapınar and lunch beside the lake belong to both. Only one of them adds the zoo.
The season shapes both alike: summer convoys drive open and soak each other with water, winter ones go covered and dry. Neither route changes that.

Choosing from Kumköy
If someone in your party has set their heart on the cubs, book the zoo route — and know that whether a cub is out on your day is the zoo's call, which we cannot promise. If the mountains and the water are the point, or a photograph with a captive cub does not sit well with you, the classic day gives you everything else without that stop. On the zoo route, anyone who would rather not go in can wait with the jeeps.

Switching after you book
Because both routes leave from the same hotels, swapping one for the other takes a short WhatsApp message up to 48 hours before the start. Prefer the evening? The night safari calls at Kumköy as well, late in the afternoon, for guests aged 12 and over. All the areas are on the pickup page.
