Side Jeep Tour Extras: the Green Lake Boat and the Waterfall
The fare covers the jeep, the guide, the transfer and lunch. A handful of things sit outside it, and you decide on each one when you get there — never in advance, and never online.
Short answer
There are two optional extras on the day tours. The Green Lake boat is roughly an hour on the water after lunch at €5 per person, paid on the day. The Manavgat Waterfall may be visited as the convoy heads home, depending on the day's programme; its entrance is settled at the gate. On the zoo route the zoo ticket is a third. The fare also leaves out drinks and the team's own photo and video service.
The Green Lake boat
After lunch by the lake, the convoy offers an hour or so on Green Lake by boat. It costs €5 per person and is settled on the spot. The booking form has no box for it; you simply say yes or no at the lake.
It is an add-on to the day, not a different tour. There is no separate boat version to book, and the fare you reserve is the same whichever way you decide. An adult who takes the boat spends €20 on the fare and €5 on the boat — and the lunch, the swim and the viewpoints are the same with or without it.
Manavgat Waterfall
On the return leg the programme sometimes includes a stop at Manavgat Waterfall. Whether it happens on your day depends on that day's programme, so we list it as programme-dependent rather than as a fixed stop. When it is made, the entrance is paid on site, at the gate, by those who go in.
If the waterfall is the reason you are booking, ask on WhatsApp the day before and we will tell you what the operator has planned.
Everything else outside the fare
| Extra | Which tour | How it is paid |
|---|---|---|
| Green Lake boat, about an hour | Classic day and zoo route | €5 per person, on the day |
| Manavgat Waterfall entrance | Classic day and zoo route, when the programme stops there | On site |
| Zoo ticket | Zoo route only | At the zoo gate; the zoo sets the price |
| Drinks | All three tours | As you order them |
| Tour team's photos and videos | All three tours | Only if you buy them |
We do not quote the zoo ticket or the waterfall entrance: both are set by the places themselves, not by us.
How much money to carry
Bring the fare in euros, plus enough for what you think you will want: drinks for the day, €5 a head for the boat, and something for the waterfall entrance and, on the zoo route, the zoo ticket. Nothing is charged online, so there is nothing to reconcile afterwards — what you pay on the day is the whole bill. The full fare table is on the prices page.
Skipping the extras
A party that skips every extra still has the complete day: the Roman bridge, the off-road riverbeds, the aqueducts, the swim and pancakes at Oymapınar, the dam, the canyon viewpoint and lunch. To see where each extra falls in the day, read the day, stop by stop; for the lake itself, Green Lake and Oymapınar. Then book the classic day.
