Jeep Tour Side With Children: Fares, Ages and What to Expect
A family can do the whole mountain day together, from the first riverbed splash to lunch by the lake. What a child pays, what the open jeep asks of a small one, and which tour is closed to them.
Short answer
On both day tours a child aged 2 to 10 pays €10, a child under 2 rides free, and from 11 everyone pays the adult fare of €20. Children always travel with an adult. The night safari is different: it takes guests from 12 up only, so younger children cannot be booked on it.
What each age pays
| Age on the day | Classic or zoo route | Night safari |
|---|---|---|
| Under 2 | Free | Cannot be booked |
| From 2 up to 10 | €10 | From 12 only, at €35 |
| 11 and over | €20 | €35 |
From 11 a guest already pays the full fare on the day tours; the night safari opens only at 12, and everyone on it pays €35. The booking form asks for ages, so the price it shows is the one you hand over on the day.
Small children and an open jeep
In summer the jeeps have no roof, so sun, wind and a little dust reach every seat, and the tracks shake everyone about in places. The river crossings throw water up the sides, and in summer the convoys throw it at each other on purpose. Older children tend to call that the point of the day. For a toddler or a baby on a lap it is a lot, and only you can judge whether your child will enjoy it or simply put up with it.
Children under 2 ride free on the day tours, so the fare is never the obstacle. Think instead about a hat, sun cream, spare clothes packed somewhere they will stay dry, and how your child copes with a long day: about 8 hours from your hotel gate and back. In winter the same route runs in covered jeeps with no water games, which some parents of very young children prefer.
The zoo route, for children who want the cubs
If your children have seen the lion-cub photographs, book the zoo route: the classic day with a zoo stop added, at the same fares. The zoo ticket is not in the fare and is bought at the gate for each person who goes in.
Be straight with them before you leave: whether a cub is out, and whether it can be held, is the zoo's call on the day. We can promise the stop, not the photograph. If that matters, ask us on WhatsApp the day before. Classic route or zoo route weighs the two for a family.
Why the night safari starts at 12
The evening is built for older guests: a late-afternoon jeep run, dinner on board and a catamaran party cruise with music. The operator's record sets the age at 12 and over, and the booking form has no child seat for it. A family with teenagers can go together; a family with younger children takes the day tour. The day or night guide sets the two side by side.
Before you book for a family
- Count each child by age in the form; that is how the fare is worked out.
- Every child travels with an adult in the party.
- Tell us in the notes about anything the guide should know before boarding.
- Bring swim things for the stop at Oymapınar and a few euros for drinks or the optional boat hour.
- Nothing is paid online; the family's seats are paid for in euros on the tour day itself.
