Who it suits
Which Language Is the Side Jeep Tour Guided In?
There are two language lists on this site, and they are not the same list. One is for the guide on the day; the other is for us, before it.
Short answer
On the day tours the guiding is in English, German and Russian, plus Turkish. Separately, the booking form asks which language we should use when we confirm your pickup: English, German, Russian, Polish or Turkish. Polish is a contact language, not a guiding language; we can write to you in Polish, but we do not promise a Polish-speaking guide.
Two lists, side by side
| Language | Guiding on the day tours | Pickup confirmation and messages |
|---|---|---|
| English | Yes | Yes |
| German | Yes | Yes |
| Russian | Yes | Yes |
| Turkish | Yes | Yes |
| Polish | No | Yes |
For Polish guests, plainly
This site is written in Polish, the confirmation can reach you in Polish, and a WhatsApp question in Polish gets an answer in Polish. The commentary at the aqueducts and the viewpoints does not. Nothing in the operator's record lists Polish as a guiding language, so we will not let the Polish pages imply it.
In practice, decide before you book which of English, German or Russian you follow best, and say so in the notes. A good share of the day speaks for itself — the river crossings, the swim at Oymapınar, the lake from above — but the guide's explanations will come in one of those languages.
What the record does not tell us
- Whether the guide in your part of the convoy speaks all the guiding languages, or only some of them.
- Whether you can reserve a guide for a particular language. You can ask in the notes; it is not something we promise.
- Which languages the drivers speak. They drive; the guiding is the guide's job.
- Which languages the night safari is guided in. The record lists the languages for the day tours only.
If one of these decides the booking for you, ask us on WhatsApp first. We put the question to the operator and tell you the answer we get, not one we would like to give.
Setting the form up
The box is labelled with the pickup confirmation in mind, so pick the language of the person whose phone is in the booking: that is who reads the time the day before. In a family where the parents read German and the grandparents read Russian, that is one choice, not two. Write the guiding language you would like in the notes as well; the two do not have to match.
The rest of the form is in how booking works. If it is your first jeep tour, first time, or an older guest walks through the morning, and the classic day is where you choose a date.
